Review: Beyond Alice in Glow Cushion Limited Set 01 Milk Cake

And one for the Disney kid in me – the Alice in Glow Cushion SPF50+ PA+++ in 01 Milk Cake, under the BEYOND X ALICE IN WONDERLAND limited collection that was released some months back.

When I first saw the promo images of the collection online, I was pretty excited! I remembered watching the animated film many, many years back while I was still in primary school and would watched it repeatedly to the annoyance of my mum. The White Rabbit was especially memorable because he is always in a mad rush! Well, anyway, I am not in a mad rush right now but would wanna tell you all about my experience with this Alice in Glow Cushion today.

Read on to find out all about it!

I can’t find much info in english about the Alice cushion on the internet, but here is something from Koreadepart that is available.

Personal take : I got this cushion mainly because of the design. The vivid illustration of Alice is very alluring and it appeals to the inner Disney kid in me. That, and also the fact that this particular cushion/brand is dermatologist tested, has no parabens and tar colorants added, is against animal testings, has a Eco Beauty lab and supports sustainable growth.

While the highlight of the Royal Black Tea extract is all over their collaterals, this cushion also contains Niacinamide and Adenosine, both of which are not amongst the top few listed ingredients in its recipe.

Now, when it comes to the application, it is a little tricky. This cushion might not go on nicely on some of the moisturizers you may have at home. It is best for your test it and see what works best. For me, for my combination skin type, a water-based gel-creme pairs nicely with the cushion. Furthermore, you have to ensure that your moisturizer and sunblock has been completely absorbed before patting this Alice cushion on.

With the patchiness issue solved, the Alice cushion does wear nicely for about 5/6 hours before it starts caking up. The effect of the cushion is glowy and definitely in the dewy category. Coverage is decent and concealer is definitely required.

Overall, I do enjoyed using this Alice cushion but some trial and error is needed to determine which moisturizer/sunblock is best paired when using with the cushion.

Will i recommend it? : Yes, though you need to have a good skin base before patting this cushion on
