Earlier last week, I had the privilege of previewing the Christmas collection from The Body Shop and boy was it a playground for adults! The team aptly called it – kidultingย (Kid + Adulting).
Before we go on to see the pictures I’ve taken during the preview event, here are some highlights of this year’s Christmas campaign proudly presented and sponsored by The Body Shop. Please take a minute to read them ๐
Play For Peace
The packaging of the gifts you purchased this year has been fitted with games that you can play with the recipient. From quizzes and spinners, to mazes and dice, the packaging is more than just a pretty one.
Play crossword puzzle, play spin the wheel, or truth or dare, these are just some games that you can play using the specially designed gift packaging this year.
Furthermore, every gift that you purchased from the Christmas collection, you will be supporting the PEACE PLAY PROJECT via The Body Shop International plc. All donations will help refugee children to play in a safe place for a year. This is something you and I can do to help support a good cause.
Find out more about this PEACE PLAY PROJECT initiativeย here.
Fill The Giant Stocking
Another charity program in conjunction with the PLAY PEACE PROJECT is the “Gift aย Play” initiative. Partnering with Care Community Services Society here in Singapore, shoppers (and everyone, anyone to be precise) are encouraged to donate toys and dropping them in the giant stocking strategically placed within the outlets at:
- Novena Square #01-34
- Raffles City #01-42
- Bugis Junction #01-28
- Bukit Panjang Plaza #01-46/47
- Parkway Parade #B1-50/66
In the words of The Body Shop, let’s gift these children a chance to PLAY.
About The Body Shop Christmas Preview 2017
This year, the Christmas preview was held at Treetop at Scape, and attendees were treated to a party of fun and games, sweets and presents. We also got to play games in order to receive stamps and then exchanging them into chances at the claw machine.
I did not take any pictures of the game stations itself, but I did take some for the Christmas gift selections. You can view them just after this.
This year, The Body Shop has collaborated with House of Holland, a London-based fashion brand, to bring you a very exclusive, very limited capsule gift collection. I have my eyes on The Body Shop x House of Holland Limited Edition White Muskยฎ EDT Gift Set ($52).

At the event, I also got to hang with my favorite gal pals, Maybelline and June. They are such darlings and I adore them very much!

I think I look a little derpy here. What do you guys think?

Towards the end of the event, every one of us got to bring home a bag of goodies sans cupcakes, tarts and macaroons (those are already in my tummy. heh!)
Below is the unboxing video of the goodies and I hope you will enjoy watching it!
These are the Christmas gifts that are featured in the unboxing video:
- Dial-A-Flavor Body Butter Trio, price TBC
- The Finest Facial Mask Duo, $65
- Almond Milk & Honey Collection, price TBC
