BB cushions are extremely convenient and very easy to use. Housed within a round compact with a BB liquid-soaked sponge in the middle, the BB cushion is a godsend to anyone anywhere.
Today, i would like to give a proper review of the Missha Magic Cushion SPF50+ PA+++ which i have been using on and off for a couple of weeks now. Read on to find out what i think about it!
First, a little something from the brand:

According to the brand, the Missha M Magic Cushion is/has:
- Good coverage: Containing Micro-pigments that helps to conceal blemishes and spots
- Long-lasting: Silica-bead powder in the long-lasting formula offers durability against sweat and sebum, preventing it from darkening (oxidation)
- Lightweight: Lightweight texture allows cushion to adhere close and tight to the skin without burden nor cakiness
- Moisturizing and soothing: Formula includes Bamboo water and Baobab tree extract, both of which provides ample moisture to the skin, while Witch hazel extract soothe and calms the skin
And here’s my experience with the cushion:

Personal take | : | This BB Cushion is marketed as one that has sebum-control yet providing the skin with sufficient moisture for it to stay comfortable and fitting on the skin. I find the moisture part to be true but not the sebum-controlling bit. However, the coverage was incredible and lasted for a good day before it became patchy towards the end of the day.
I noted: good instant coverage that can be further build upon. Shine came towards the 3~4 hrs mark but it held well against the humid climate and lasted about 8~10 hrs on a good day for me. The scent of the cushion is somewhat powdery, somewhat floral and i am comfortable with it. Overall, this is a good performing cushion that perhaps need just an additional oil-control product on areas that are oilier i.e. t-zone On the side note, I am using shade no.21 |
Will i recommend it? | : | Absolutely, yes! |
To this, Buddy says:
I really like this cushion in the moist version as well 🙂 But I have dry skin! I just bought the Kiko CC cream cushion and the Lancome cushion to try out for my blog but I haven’t gotten to it yet 🙂 I just think they are so easy to use and especially for the touch-ups during the day! 🙂
