Review: W.Lab W-Honey Beam Cushion SPF50+ PA+++

Everyone wants the Korean dewy skin, so everyone tries to layer on as much highlighter or shimmery powder as they possibly can to recreate that ‘look’. Lucky for me, I think I’ve found an easy shortcut to achieving that dewiness in just ONE base product — the W.Lab W-Honey Beam Cushion!

Below is my experience with the cushion:

(Shade no.21, that’s the shade i always go to. I was recently told that my skin tone suits NC15/NW15)

(The puff applicator for this cushion is also the plasticky-feel type which i don’t fancy)

(Here’s a writing in eyeliner pencil and powdered eye shadow

(And just with a few pats and blending, the writing and shadow is easily covered away)

Try-out period	:	Daily, and then on and off for the past 4 weeks
Personal take	:	Okay, i LOVE the packaging! I LOVE the angsty-looking bumblebee girl illustrated on the cover of the cushion! I mean, look at it, she has like so much emotions that she seems to want to express but decided not to because she can’t be bothered with me. (HAHAHA – i know, i’m too imaginative but i cannot help it!) Performance wise, this honey beam cushion performed as advertised in that it gives my skin the needed coverage and then some. Also, it imparted an obvious glow that has everyone complimenting on it. I’m not even kidding, the effect/finished look from this cushion has got me the most compliments since the Missha Magic Cushion Moisture. Although the honey ingredients in it does kept the skin hydrated, I find that it does melts off a lot easier and faster. The shine on my nose started appearing at about 3 hours into wearing it, and by the 6th or 7th hour, it didn’t look as smooth anymore. Oh! Because of the type of cushion this is, be prepared to pay more attention to the nose area because it will be patchy. Some blending is required. Overall, i do quite enjoy wearing this cushion on days that i needed that extra glow or compliments but i will not choose to wear this on a daily basis because of that glow. You get what I’m trying to say, yes?
Will i recommend it?	:	Yes, it gives you an immediate dewy glow!
