Try-out period | : | Daily, for 6 days |
Personal take | : | The “Signature” range of products belong to Missha’s more premium offerings, and it really isn’t too difficult to tell because of the ingredients recipe of each product. Take this Signature Essence Cushion for example, the very first ingredient of the list is Lactobacillus Ferment instead of just purified water. But that is not all as the second ingredient that follows is the Panax Ginseng Root Water. Move a little further down and we have Glycerin, Niacinamide, Rice Bran Oil, Rice Germ Oil, Hydrolyzed Pearl, Honey, Black Yeast Ferment, Collagen, Adenosine and others.
Remember how well the Tonymoly BCDation Cushion+ concealed all the little skin flaws I had so effortlessly but lacked a little moisture? This Signature Essence Cushion offered exactly the same level of medium coverage oh-so-effortlessly AND have sufficient moisture to boot! Woohoo! Now, before you go and purchase this, do let me warn you about its apparent lack of oil control. That, coupled with the “high refractive index shine” from the Rice Bran Oil and Rice Germ Oil, your oilier facial zones are gonna be needing a dab and blot in about 3/4 hours easily. Luckily after blotting, the retouching is easy and does not look cakey. Therefore, to make things a little easy, do use a good oil control primer before this cushion and dust some setting powder for good measure. Although I cannot attest to its 12 hours color durability claim, I can say that its “skin safety tested” formula makes it pretty comfortable to wear………..all till about 10 hours later when it gets a little dry and patchy for me. In conclusion, this is quite a good cushion to own and can be used as a daily go-to. PS. I sincerely hope Missha come out with a shade No.13 as that, I think, will be a more complimenting shade for me. Also, darker shades too because this is a pretty good performing cushion!
