(That’s me wearing just ONE layer of the cushion. I think i really do like this shade no.21 from Seatree on me. Mmm…dilemma, dilemma.)

Everything about this cushion seems good so far right?

Roaring view for [Seatree Easy Cushion SPF50+ PA+++]:

Product’s packaging : Round compact container with the cutest pink whale printed on its cover
Product’s texture : Smooth, lightweight BB liquid
Product’s scent : Soft powdery-floral scent
Price point : 19,800₩
Purchased it from the brand’s outlet when I visited Seoul in February last month. For the complete list of Seatree store locations, click on the link here.

Also, since this brand is relatively new, I am not so surprised that a cursory search does not show me much results on e-tailers that might carry it.

Try-out period : Daily, for 6 days
Personal take : I got this cushion towards the last leg of my Seoul trip when I walked past the brand’s counter at one of the departmental store. Prior to this, I only know that the brand has some awesome eye shadow cubesdonkey milk products and the steam cream that comes in a round tin can with assorted Seatree Art designs on it.

This Easy Cushion is Seatree’s very first cushion foundation and I feel that they are pretty ambitious with the release of 3 different cover designs (Pink whale, Red dress and Dreamy cat) for its two shades (no.21 and no.23). Well, good and bad really. Good because the brand is known in the K-beauty scene for its quirky and colorful drawings on the packagings. Bad because one design may sell out faster than the others, but that is just their logistic issue.

Now, as for its performance, this is what I have to say. This cushion have a buildable coverage with a soft, dewy finish. However, if you decided to apply a second layer of this cushion, you definitely need to put in a little more effort in patting it so that it blends nicely and look natural. You will also need a setting powder for this cushion as it transfer easily. As this Easy Cushion does not have an oil control feature, sebum shine does come much faster for someone with a combination skin like mine. On average, I noted about 3~4 hours of wearing before shine starts to show, and 6 hours before becoming patchy. For such a moisturizing cushion, it’d be better for someone with a normal skin type with imperfections to conceal.

Will i recommend it? : No, because the formulation is not for someone with a combination skin like mine. Also because I believe that any product that comes out from a manufacturer/brand should be of quality and not leaking out like mine. Now, before you say that I am being over critical about this issue, there is another lady on my instagram who have this leaking issue with her Easy Cushion too. Who knows how many others out there are also facing this issue. Right?

I suppose I can use a foundation brush to pick up the liquid and apply it on my face, but that would just defeat the purpose of it being a cushion now would it?

Hello, welcome to my little roaring blog Kasey! 🙂 well, regarding the leaking, it’s my first time encountering such too. It happened while being stored in my bag in a vertical position, and so it leaked downwards. 😕
